EMV Chip Mastercard Debit Card

First Vision Bank knows how important it is to keep your money safe and secure. We have enhanced our cards  with EMV chip technology which brings greater security to your transactions. This technology reduces the potenial for fraudsters to create counterfeit cards due to the dynamic data created during a transaction. Every time your chip card is used for payment, the chip creates a unique transaction code that cannot be used again.

Important Information About Your Card

• Do not write your PIN number on your chip card
• Report a lost or stolen chip card to us immediately
  • During Banking Hours: 866-263-5294
  • After Hours: 800-500-1044
• Treat your chip card like cash and always keep it in a safe place
• There is no special action you need to take to start using your chip card
• You can still swipe your chip card using the magnetic stripe on the back of the card at merchants who haven't yet updated their terminals
• When you swipe your chip card at a chip-activated terminal, the terminal will prompt you to insert the card into the chip slot instead
• Use your chip card for payment over-the-phone or online just like you always have

SecurLOCK Equip

Your bank account and personal information are important, and First Vision Bank wants you to have the tools to keep them safe. We are now offering the access to SecurLOCK Equip to all First Vision Bank debit card holders. SecurLOCK Equip is a mobile app that gives you the power to protect your debit card against fraud and unwanted account spending, by allowing you to customize alerts and control features.

SecurLOCK Equip allows you to set up:

• Instant Transaction Alerts - Act instantly on real-time transaction alerts.
• Switch Card ON/OFF - Lock or unlock you card with a single touch.
• Location Control - Limit your card activity by location, either keeping your card active only if it is used near your current location or limit usage to a region on a map. Cards can also be turned on or restricted from international charges.
• Control Preferences - Set up merchant categories (grocery, retail, gas, etc), transaction types (ATM transactions, online purchases, recurring charges, etc.) and set spend limits. Your controls can be set up according to your own unique spending behavior.
